I grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee. After receiving a B.S. in Biology and playing volleyball at Tennessee Technological University, I married Eric Hyche, another Kingsport native. We lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 11 years, where I received a M.S. from Emory University and worked as a pediatric Physician Assistant. After the birth of our daughters Emma and Lydia and a move back to our hometown, I was fortunate to be able to care for them, manage our household, and volunteer in their schools for many years.
I returned to work in 2011 as an Instructional Assistant in a local elementary school for 3 years. Although I loved my job, I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I loved to organize things and wishing I could do that on a full time basis. I had organized for many people over the years on a volunteer basis, and I had done some research into the field of Professional Organizing.
As new empty nesters, I finally decided the time was right to launch my business. I joined the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), took online classes, did some job shadowing with an experienced organizer, got some business coaching, and started working with clients. I am thrilled to finally be doing what I love most – helping people bring order to chaos. When I’m not organizing, I love to ride on bike trails with my husband Eric and to act in community theatre productions.
