This client, an elementary school teacher, needed a better system for organizing books for her classroom that were used for holidays, seasons, special events, author studies, etc. Although the system she had previously designed was very neat and orderly, it wasn’t easy to maintain. Whenever books were changed out, they would fall over and get disorganized very quickly.

Like most teachers who have very limited funds to purchase supplies, the solution needed to be inexpensive and to utilize what she had first. I was able to find very inexpensive magazine holders at a going out of business sale and to combine those with a few storage containers she already had. The resulting system is neat and orderly but also able to withstand multiple quick changes over the year.
